Painting is fun! and also incredibly messy. With my approach to abstract painting, I usually get just as much paint on the floor, on my clothes and on the walls of my studio as I do on the canvas. This is where the LeftOvers series comes from. Each piece in the LeftOvers series is an accumulation of countless hours of painting, mixing and pure experimentation. The tables that I paint on become a canvas in themselves; collecting paint, texture and whatever else I decide to use. The end result is layer upon layer of the LeftOvers from countless hours of creative effort.
